Australia 2-3 Netherlands - 2014 World Cup Result

Netherlands beats minnows Australia 3-2 in  the first game of Today's World Cup clash.

Brave. Courageous. Australia have given the Netherlands a fright in Porto Alegre but Louis van Gaal's men make it two wins out of two in Group B. A Chile win over Spain later and the Dutch are in the Round of 16.

Mat Ryan, the Australia goalkeeper will be having nightmares for weeks to come. The Australia keeper allows a 30-yard attempt by substitute Memphis Depay to squirm into the net.

Australia could have scored five and the Dutch won't win the World Cup because of the defence. In defence you've got two players from the Dutch league, which isn't the strongest, and you've got Ron Vlaar. His nickname's 'concrete Ron' but he's played like he's got concrete in his boots."
